Meet Josh Nelson
Founder of Bee Balm Productions, with 25+ years of experience in web development, digital media, e-learning, and strategic execution.
Background
After Dartmouth, Josh worked with the C. Everett Koop Institute creating public health websites, PSA media, and animation projects, including a 20-minute animated film produced with a 10-person team.
He later joined the Interactive Media Lab at the Geisel School of Medicine as producer, designer, and 3D animator, eventually serving in leadership roles managing award-winning multimedia and web initiatives. That work evolved into World 2 Systems.
From 2010 to 2014, Josh helped build infrastructure and business translation support under the NIH-backed TREAT initiative, guiding over 100 innovators evaluating health-care product ideas. Bee Balm Productions was founded in 2014 from that experience.
In 2020, he was recruited as the fourth Executive Director of Claremont Community Television, helping modernize studio hardware, software, lighting, and server infrastructure as it transitioned toward the Claremont Community Media Center.
